Not all female clients are married to or are PuristS!

I would not buy Tracie an AP quartz watch, but in reality, it would be much better for her lifestyle.  She wears it a few days, takes it off, forgets how to reset it or change the date, etc.  AP is right to offer both automatic and quartz movements for women.  Some might want to knock AP for it; I see it as something to credit them for.

The truth is Audemars Piguet offers an extensive selection of ladies watches with automatic movements.  Jules Audemars, Royal Oak, Royal Oak Offshore, and now the amazing Millenaries.  Do they have an auto in every size case?  No, but there are many variations to choose from.  I would argue they have the most comprehensive lineup of women's collection watches of any brand, and they have placed a high emphasis on developing these lines the past few years.

I think this can be a very nice pair watch for her and him. Of course, both are good separately, though! For her.... 33mm quartz, two hands. With diamond set.... Borrowed boutique staff's wrist. Not bad, is it? For him.... 41mm, automatic. Maybe tad big f...

That is a good point....

.. but price, size, and appetite may be the deciding factor..... besides, it's two hander and you wouldn't notice it's a quartz watch :-) Maybe it is a disappearing art - before quartz, they had to make any watch, any size, any shape, with mechanical move...

I agree with you 100%.

I tried to find my wife a RO, max. 33 mm and mechanical from AP Boutique. No way, the smallest is 37 mm. In my case it means lost sales for AP. Best, Kari

37mm automatic , equally with dazzling diamonds ... Perhaps that is for the horology ladies in mind. Like wise, dun understand the use of Quartz in the range. Baffling indeed ....

It seems AP is doing a great job of bringing back 2-tone watches.

Thanks for the live look at these watches Ken!

That is more important fact than....

... quartz or not, IMO. They will surely hear the reputation and start making mechanical 33mm, if the demand is big enough. Honestly, while I am not a big fan of quartz watch either, I wonder how many ladies are out there who wants mechanical 33mm - big e...
