E. Selfwinding Royal Oak 37mm, white gold diamond set case
Feb 15, 2013,13:08 PM
AP's first white gold Royal Oak Automatic in a 37mm case can really be considered a unixsex model, even if it more likely falls within the Women's Collection. The case middle, bezel, and folding clasp are set with a total of 152 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling approximately 2.46 carats. Once again, AP uses the highest clarity of diamond, IF.
The gem set dial is contained with a satin-brushed outer zone. So as to not disturb the exquisite dial, "Audemars Piguet" and the word "Automatic" are screened on the underside of the crystal.
Selfwinding Manufacture Calibre 3120 is used to power this Royal Oak.
The seamless crocodile strap is very elegant and pliable. The diamond set white gold folding clasp is really a work of art in its own right.

A similar version is offered in a pink gold case with a traditional "Grande Tapisserie" black dial. The double stick marker at 12 is diamond set (photo coming).
