A great watchmaker

And a very kind man too.

I always wish AP decide to use more and more mr. Papi's skills and well trained guys at R&P in order to develop more valuable watches but it seems that those skills are reserved only to the very high end range of the AP's  production, and not the more commercial (and sold) one.
I woukd like a new automatic chronograph by Giulio to put inside the royal oak instead of the shame of a modular one in so many AP watches (not just off shore) or in the best cases the FP1185, and even more a classical and beautiful conceived and refined manual one for a classical manual chronograph which AP lacks for about more than half a century.
But i think it will never happen, as long as they are able to sell their actual stuff well at their actual prices without anyone asking nothing more.

Best regards

Gasp! No! Surely not! How can you have dinner with the man and not talk about watches? I did because: A. He has forgotten more about watchmaking than I could possibly understand during a dinner conversation. B. I'm sometimes a bit bored about watch-talk. ...

Yeah, he is DA MAN!
