15202 vs 15400
Feb 24, 2014,08:29 AM
I perfectly understand the appeal of this "extra thin" model, which is the current closest iteration of the original, iconic Royal Oak of 1972.
However, for a daily (or frequent) wearer, why did you choose this particular model, which is more expensive, hand wound, without a seconds hand, and likely less robust than a 15400 with the 3120 automatic movement?
It is clear to me that for a collector item/showpiece, to be worn sparingly and essentially be kept as new, the 15202 is the one to have.
But for a watch to wear and enjoy frequently, why the 15202 over the 15400?
Thanks or enlightening a non-expert (but still a fan of the beautiful RO)!
Best regards,
Claude
