a 1987 Royal Oak back from spa

The 1987 Royal Oak Dual Tme in half-gold was a piece I fell in love with at 1st sight. Initially the owner allowed me to loan it from him, but after incessant bugging, the old gentlemen decided to sell this piece to his godson(myself) as a way of passing ...

Applause, applause ...

The moment I saw it I openly wished it were mine. He was laughing it off, but after 3 years of talking about it all the time, the owner finally decided it belongs to me.

Glad to hear your AP service went well! [nt]

It attracts a lot of glances, it appears, compared to any of the other watches I wore or rotate, even more so than an ROO as well. I'll wear it sparingly now, swapping back to my daily beaters.
