Wrist shots of new ROO Diver Ceramic

Oct 09, 2013,06:28 AM

They called me yesterday from AP store to come and check out new ROO Diver Ceramic.

The black ceramic case looks amazing, the dial is also great. The rubber strap is too thick for my taste and a bit of disappointment for me is also the tone of the orange color - it looks a bit dull. From the pictures that I have seen before I was expecting really strong and screaming orange smile
Anyway beautiful peace - enjoy!

The new ceramic Royal Oak Offshore Diver is going to be very popular. I have found the rubber strap to be very pliable and comfortable despite its thickness. Given the dimensions of the case and lugs, I'm afraid it could not be made thinner and still look...

Wow that looks great

Is it the pic or is the lume triangle applied rather poorly?

The ceramic Diver is my least favourite of the divers, still the old SS is my ideal sports AP.

Something unexpected....

Hi there, Very nice and cool photos! ;) I was wondering is this a heavy watch ? Given the case and bezel is in ceramic. Thanks, Best regards, Bob

Diver carbon weight

Bob, I don't know what is the exact weight but I would say it's perfect weight. It's definitely lighter than any steel ROO but heavier than ROO Diver Carbon. It sits very well on the wrist

Weight of the Ceramic Diver

For me the weight is perfect, not too light where it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything (like the carbon), and not too heavy wear you feel like you need to give your wrist a break after wearing it for a while.

Gorgeous

Honestly, I sold my forged diver, in part because of this gorgeous ceramic version. One of the biggest reasons was how they handled the dial. If you notice on the forged, the triangle is cut in half. On the ceramic, they ensure the entire triangle is main...

Another nice option...

Pictures don't do this watch justice. You have to see it in person! I'm thinking this would be the perfect watch for me. A beautiful Offshore that's not going to get dinged and scratched up, and you can see the movement...too bad there is a long waiting l...

Stunning piece ..

They did great job with the ceramic cases.

Looks great on the wrist

Got to see one in person. The ceramic looks beautifully finished. Be interesting to see how durable the material is long term. Great for not scratching, but quite brittle I imagine especially where the plots attach to the case may be a vulnerable spot. My...
