Less than 2 months to SIHH2015!!

 By: MichaelC : November 21st, 2014-08:41
Wow, every year seems faster than the last. It does not feel so long ago that we were presented with SIHH2014 and all of Audemars Piguet's newest creations. And now we will see the next batch in a mere 50+ days. Let's have a quick look back as we then spe...

Discussed this issue two weeks ago with an AP employee

in a managerial position. 1. We might see a new Royal Oak Perpetual. 2. AP is working with their own integrated chronograph movement. However, this will probably be ready in the end of next year. But who cares... I am counting days and dreaming about my n...

AP integrated chronograph

 By: cory : November 21st, 2014-18:37
I am really excited to see what AP come up with and am happy to wait until the end of 2015 as long as it is good!? :) Does anyone know how long this has been in development?....10 years? Could we expect a revolution or evolution? Perhaps quite a different...

Brand-new system for chronograph pushers!

 By: cory : November 21st, 2014-18:49
I read about this and it got me excited.... "which will be a sort of mini-revolution for the watch world. It’s getting patented as we speak". Hope to see this soon this new system soon.

AP integrated chronograph 2015

 By: cory : November 21st, 2014-22:40
Can someone explain whether the new movement inside the new ROO selfwinding tourbillon chronograph Is this not the integrated chronograph movement developed inhouse by AP? What's coming end of 2015??? Thanks.

What new ideas could be up their sleeves?

But as Kari spoke of the Jumbo, I agree. After buying a 15202 I do not really have a strong desire for any other AP model. JerryW

You, me, and Kari are paddling in the same boat.

The 15202 is it. I love wearing Royal Oak Offshores, and one day I will own a complicated AP. But the 15202 is "The ONE".

All this confirm why I love AP!

Thanks for this great summary Michael! What will come in 2015? I'm expecting a ceramic RO offshore in 42mm! but I guess it will not come!!

my guess for sihh 2015

Nice summary Michael. For SIHH 2015 I still have my hope to see the new RO Moonphase with new refresh design. Maybe also new ROO 42mm in Titanium or SS with ceramic bazel, or even new ROO for unisex/ladies. But i guess AP will end up with focus more on th...

Royal Oak Star Wheel - Double face complication

 By: cory : November 28th, 2014-11:15
I wonder what the chances are of AP surprising us with a new double face royal oak star wheel complcation in 2015? This would cool. ;)

First, please refine the 26320

 By: PedroH : December 7th, 2014-12:35
Don't know if it's going to be presented in 2015 but before anything very sophisticated / advanced I would like to see evolution in the RO Chronograph (ref 26320) including a fully in house movement and a see through case back.

Don't forget........

.......the Schumacher 2 will be coming soon, split second seems certain, tourbillon possibly also, but not as certain.........

Schumacher 2?

 By: cory : December 8th, 2014-15:02
With split second and tourbillon... what makes you think this? Have you read this somewhere. Im looking forward to seeing the newly integrated chronograph and pusher system but understand we will probably not see this until end of 2015. I reckon Audemars ...

I have been told about it......

 By: Conkers : December 8th, 2014-16:15
......by a few different people in the know including dealers. Split second complication appears to be certain, but some say tourbillon, some say no tourbillon - at the indications on price that have been given, split second and tourbillon seems a bit amb...

S2

 By: cory : December 8th, 2014-21:40
Hi Conkers, Looking forward to seeing what AP show us at SIHH 2015. I have a feeling we are going to see some amazing things from them over the next few years as they have repositioned the brand. I am interested in what we could expect from the S2 Offshor...

Well......

......apparently limited to 221 pieces and for the price I think we are not allowed to post on here, but at the price I have heard it can't be right for a split second tourblllon, hence my scepticism about what the complications will actually be. Rgds Rog...
