Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver in white ceramic - hands-on

 By: small-luxury-world : June 19th, 2014-06:52
The Royal Oak Offshore Diver is not new in general as it was already presented in 2010, but in a "simple" steel version. The new white ceramic version I had no chance to see at SIHH in Geneva, but afterwards. Lucky me, the light was just perfect when I sa...

I think it works!

I generally like it, although I agree that the white chrono is fabulous! I'm sure in person the detials as you mention, are killer! I wonder how this watch would change if teh gasket between the bezel and case would be in blue, and if the strap also in bl...

S. my pleasure.

Oliver, your photos have sent me over the edge on this Diver

I had not until now taken this watch seriously. But that was then and this is now. I am a HUGE fan of the AP Diver. I think it is their most compelling new piece in the past several years, and my favorite version is, as for you, the original. In fact the ...

Guilty! :-) Note to myself: Good job! Thanks! Oliver

I think this ceramic Diver is absolutely stunning

And I hope in the future that AP makes more colored variants which red, yellow, or orange accents! Cheers, Anthony

Anthony, I agree colored variants ...

could be nice. But I would (probably) be lost with all those LEs in the long run, once more ;-) Thanks! Oliver

Have the same feeling!

What's holding me now

 By: PedroH : June 20th, 2014-14:35
I'm about to buy my second AP. The first is a 15400 white dial. Found and tried the original diver (steel case) and liked it. Almost ready to buy it these questions are holding me back: - New ceramic crowns seem better than the original diver rubber crown...

To make it short ...

When I first saw them I was taken aback and didn't know what to think of them, but as I see more and more of the Diver and the Chrono it is growing on me, I think in the case of the Diver a Blue Rubber Strap and in the case of the Chrono a Blue Hornback L...

Yes, I agree. Thanks! Oliver

Thanks for the report Oliver.

Having just returned from meeting with AP in Le Brassus, I can tell you the white ceramic watches have been very well received and demand is high. I would also choose the 44mm Offshore chronograph over the Diver if I were to pick one up, but the Diver is ...

Ceramic Offshore Diver review

 By: ED209 : June 22nd, 2014-17:01
Great review of the AP ROO Diver. I love the blue accents along with the white ceramic. I think it would even more stunning if it had blue rubberized crowns and white ceramic center links. Nice to see a transparent caseback too. Thanks for the awesome pic...

Why rubberized and not ceramic? Thanks Ed! Oliver

ROO in white

 By: larryyap : July 6th, 2014-20:57
This new ROO in white is a real beauty ! Particularly if it is put on a lady's wrist. I saw tennis superstar, Serena Williams had this on her wrist while playing at Wimbledon. However just a word of caution, the white rubber strap can get dirty easily and...

Really like it because its so different and refreshing. I like the white ceramic in the diver cause for the rest the watch has such a simple and strong design.
