The words make it more spectacular!
This is a great watch! I picked it from my AD last week. The real watch is more beautiful than photos you see from the web. When you look at the watch with the extra words is amazing. Gives it a bonus mark! With "Gradue Pour 15 Pulsations" makes the watch more bling bling and high class!
About the 5170J
Dear friends, What do you think about the dial of the 5170J ? The text "gradue pour 15 pulsations" means that this is a doctor's watch. Wouldn't those of you who are not doctors feel concerned about wearing a watch designed for a specific job ??? Thanks....

but still a doctor who would like to own a 5170 very much. . The dial with pulsation marks do not disturb me. I do not think that any MD would really need the pulsation marks but that would be handy for anybody who might need to give CPR. I think the dial...

The scale is simply in keeping with the design values of PP. That's all. I wouldn't read too much into it. 5170j is a sensational piece.

it's a GREAT chrono, and i agree , it's a wonderful bling bling Patek too.LOL
Now that is a very nice dial! Like this one.
Maybe it is due to the arab number, or the small dots at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 o'clock, or the well centered subdials, or maybe all these details, but I find the dial, this dial, very elegant, class, appealing. Best, Nicolas.
