Navy Seals Automatic Question...

Aug 11, 2011,21:50 PM

I'm talking about the the most basic of the Navy Seals diver watches (42mm). Are they discontinued now? I've read that they're limited to 1500 pieces. Have they been successful? Why can't JLC make this a regular production model? All their other diver watches are titanium behemoths with cluttered dials.

Thanks!

Yes, it is limited to 1500...so it is not in constant production. And yes, it is a lovely watch. Mine gets a lot of wrist time and I very much enjoy it.

Baron said it all... I will just add that ...

JLC should stop deveopping this curious habit about LE... They should better plan to make the watch fro one, or two years, in a limited production, than just adding, each year, one new LE. It is just my opinion, of course. Best, Nicolas. This message has ...

a habit inhabiting most watch companies for now over 10 years

I agree with you Nicolas, to produce with limlitations would be nicer, speacially when most 'Limited Edition Watches' end up to often be re-limited with minor changes. It seems that most watches guys know this but most new watches guys seems to continue r...

Agreed. Not everyone can be a OP or RD...

I think LEs should be REALLY limited (as JLC has done on the Duometers - 300 in 18ktY, 200 in 18ktW), or just make them limited production. -Dean
