When I saw this version in the flesh, some 4 years ago, I was speechless. The work on the movement, on the dial ( which is the same, by the way, as the movement is the dial ) is just breathtaking, spectacular. I didn't expect that one. Now, 4 years after,...

Certainly agree with you (I should see both in real to have a better feeling). But you are true when you say that your eyes should keep attention on the gyrotourbillon.

At the same time, regarding the skeletonized of the dial, this time, Jaeger kept the readability which I really appreciate. Best wishes Alkiro

I always wanted this version and has requested hoc to special commission in platinum casing and the answer was "not possible " as they have limited pieces and numbered and by producing extra one piece and that too out of original configuration of white go...

My eyes would adjust to the differences if I owned this piece hehe

The piece is just that spectacular that I wouldnt mind too much, I think the dial and extra details add to the romance of the piece. Your eyes could be lost in it for days, truely stunning.

It is so captivating that you loose any notion of time... Best, Rogi, and thanks for your answer. Nicolas

Somehow I may sound old-fashioned.. But for me the Gyro-Tourbi 1 was it, then Basta ! ;))

+1 on that the skeletonization can be variably distractive. - The old/classic one just fixated, drew ones eyes to the Tourbi, then time, (and then RQP & RM) - eyes still would get the total format.. But who am I, when LGM decides to have an evolution, to ...

We share the same Grail

While a Patek repeater is close, the original gyro 1 is my Grail as well. Skeleton tourbillons I don\'t like in general -- the eye is distracted from the symphony and dance of the tourbillon and its magic.

I would get really excited.....except for one show stopper

This lovely and interesting JLC has a running equation of time display (in French "equation du temps marchante"). The date shown on this watch is Oct 16. At that time of year, solar time is BEHIND civil time. The amount of correction for that date is appr...
