I am also an avid Ap fan. But lately after reading all this kind of problems. And some first hand problems with my friend AP. i think AP should you go back to its Research and Development. All problems come from in house movement. Hope they come up with a better movement in the future.

I feel your pain, and from reading the issues others are experiencing, I am kind of glad I didn't purchase the RO 37mm. Good luck!!

I have not personally experienced what you refer to as a common problem.

It is really unlucky for you that you have had the same problem on (3) 3126 powered Offshores. I have never experienced it on 10 +/-. Coupled with the other 20 Offshores you know of with problems, you sure have a lot of reason to lose faith. I interact wi...

In spite of this I am still an ardent fan of theirs

Yes Michael I'm not sure if it's denial but I accept that these things can happen , but when I do I certainly expect a fast response and resolution to the problem as the customer should definitely not have to be burdened by this fault. I hope that this ca...

I understand your sentiments. I hope we keep you on board.

I am fortunate to never have required AP service for a mechanical problem. I have owned AP continuously since 2001, and that covers a few handfuls of different watches. Keep us posted please.

hopefully also the repair itself will be done so quickly! Would you pls elaborate more on what was explained as the cause of the problems, an issue with the 3120 base (what specifically?) or with the D-D module? Thanks, petr

Amplitude issue was confirmed as the problem

Hi Vik - AP phoned me up and told me that there is a definite amplitude issue. They are overhauling the movement and upgrading the parts for me and will test it before returning it to me. keeping my fingers crossed on the timeline when it can be ready for...

Thanks for the update Nop. Others can jump ship if they want.

I'll stick with AP and the belief that the customer service is just as good as the product itself.
