Less than 2 weeks to SIHH 2014!

I will not be personally attending this year, but some of our other esteemed Moderators will continue to provide great coverage of all things AP. What are you hoping to see this year?

Too bad...

We will make a point of it at another local this year...

Star Wheel?

 By: RTO (T8W8T8) : January 7th, 2014-10:56
Maybe a Star Wheel 'complication" if I can call it that way but on a bigger case and striking and revolutionary design?

+1

 By: cory : January 7th, 2014-12:06
to the revolutionaly starwheel! ;)

Am I drunk?

 By: RTO (T8W8T8) : January 7th, 2014-12:57
Imagine a "Concept Star Wheel" at the best master and AP design? Maybe on a 44 or 46mm RO or ROO case with innovative case material ? (maybe something borrowed from RM materials?) This way combining tradition and innovation, "Really breaking the rules aft...

Concept Starwheel

 By: cory : January 8th, 2014-13:19
I have imagined this many times over and would love to see it done... I would rather it was not like Richard Mille though an dmore similar in colouring and aesthetics as the original CW1 Thematic piece. I would like to see it smaller around 42mm. That wou...

Many of us have been awaiting this one

 By: MichaelC : January 8th, 2014-20:46
Maybe only a few days away?? I'm not so sure about that, but we'll see. I think it is due time for AP to present a such a unique model that will provoke the masses.

Star Wheel Magic

 By: cory : November 19th, 2014-23:20
Hi All, with much anticipation and excitement as we get closer to SIHH, i am dreaming of an evolutionary AP Star Wheel from the amazing Audemars Piguet and have been waiting patiently for years ... For all of the cult Star Wheel fans, how would you like i...

Im meaning SIHH 2015.

Dreaming of Star Wheel evolution!

 By: cory : November 23rd, 2014-23:07
How would you like to see an evolution of the Star Wheel Amanico? Classic or futuristic? ;)

I would wish for some ROO updates and new ROC models...

 By: Ed Watches : January 7th, 2014-11:56
Sapphire back on all AP watches and an update for the pushers on all ROO 42mm models (maybe to something like the Trulli or, preferably, the Montoya models). I would also love to see a 41mm-ROC with the same color schemes as the old 26300ST (with differen...

One more...

I almost forgot... RO Open Dial 41mm!

Interesting wish list

 By: MichaelC : January 8th, 2014-20:48
I imagine we might see some 41mm ROC dial variations in the coming years, but it would be rather quick to come out now. Trulli pushers are only different in that they are metal and not rubber. But surely many would agree and like rectangular pushers on th...

Titanium Jumbo 15202..

 By: SALMANPK : January 7th, 2014-14:54
or in other innovative light weight materials, could also have variations with Ceramet bezels or other newer materials less prone to scratches and dings. S

Maybe an all cermet case and bezel?

 By: MichaelC : January 8th, 2014-20:49
And even bracelet? AP has been doing a lot in greyscale lately and that is right up my alley!

WoW

 By: SALMANPK : January 8th, 2014-21:25
That would be super cool! Happy New Year to You and Yours Buddy :-) S

Arabic numerals . . .

 By: M4 : January 7th, 2014-16:44
Michael, I'd like to see a ROC with arabic numerals similar to the NY la Boutique and the Paris la Boutique. Those are my all-time favorite AP watches. A ceramic Diver with arabic numerals would also be cool. Sadly, I'm not expecting Santa to deliver my w...

I'm afraid only DRMW and ED209 will know what you mean

 By: MichaelC : January 8th, 2014-20:51
And me, of course ;-) Maybe we will see arabics on a 41mm ROC? That could be very cool.

I want to see a Bronze Offshore

 By: AnthonyTsai : January 7th, 2014-16:52
Not just a bronze bezel like on the Bartorelli Scuba but a full bronze case with a titanium sapphire caseback. That would be a hot model. - AT

That would be hot!

 By: MichaelC : January 8th, 2014-20:53
And to think AP was using that material before it was so en vogue. That came out almost 6 years ago.

Another vote for a RO Starwheel or ROO Diver in blue

 By: ED209 : January 8th, 2014-21:11
Hopefully in a normal sized 39mm RO case with Starwheel movement. Or ROO Diver with ceramic bezel and ceramic case with blue accents on a rubber strap with deployant clasp. I'd be first in line to get both :) Regards, ED-209

I have heard a few others share the wish for a blue Diver

 By: MichaelC : January 9th, 2014-15:19
And have also heard it suggested that titanium would make for a great case.

What I would like to see is ...

 By: small-luxury-world : January 9th, 2014-07:58
a very special Jules Audemar, something classic with a twist. A new version of the Metropolis ... And a Star Wheel based on the new Millenary collection ... Let´s see what they have under their sleeve :-) Oliver

The Millenary is really my hope for a new Starwheel

 By: MichaelC : January 9th, 2014-15:18
That seems to be the best case for it, although it could be interesting set inside an octagon too. Can't wait to see what is in store for us...

What about a ROO with...

 By: Colin W : January 9th, 2014-15:35
Partially skeli dial similar to RBII, also updated pushers and Ceramic bez on the 42 mm models may become a reality this year, I hope. Also more dial colour options for the 44mm ceramic ROO. Also think we might see another Schumi line, non ROO?

Will be interesting to see

 By: MichaelC : January 13th, 2014-08:25
AP has mostly resisted an open dialed Offshore Chrono aside from the RB2; certainly something that maintains its unique look.

I better pick up the pace.

 By: JerryW : January 10th, 2014-21:44
I am still craving a few from 2013. JerryW

Yup, you never know when AP will throw your future plans out of whack!

 By: MichaelC : January 13th, 2014-08:26
I am curious to see what is coming.

I too am very curious...

 By: cory : January 15th, 2014-14:41
Im hoping for some fireworks... maybe a starwheel? Im not a fan of the new Concept GMT at all... looks tacky (IMVHO). Go back to the original Concept... that worked amazingly! ;)

I'll surpise you but I'll say a 0-diamond woman RO

By: Mark in Paris : November 24th, 2014-15:25
I know a woman who is seeking a RO but without the diamonds. And I understand from ADs that she's not the only one :) Otherwise, I saw a white dial old jumbo (recent but don't know the exact model) and it is quite beautiful. So a 15202 with white dial wou...

AP Sapphire royal oak concept could be cool?

 By: cory : November 24th, 2014-22:34
It would need to be a smaller case (41mm) than existing concepts. I've said this more than once but I would love to see the rounded sapphire crystal and bezel combo back like the CW1. Do you think AP would explore a Sapphire watch case offering? ;)

Hmmm... no I don't think so

By: Mark in Paris : November 25th, 2014-02:52
and I wonder how they would hide the metal shaft linking the link together which would not look very nice with a saphire bracelet. But how nice it would be to see such a case, wouldn't it be ? Cheers, Mark

It's the Star Wheel I want...

 By: cory : November 25th, 2014-22:03
Concept or vintage! I really hope AP show us something soon and my mind can't stop thinking about what creative direction/shape it could take. ;)
