Definitely if you can get one!

That watch epitomises finishing and quality workmanship or I say craftsmanship which I doubt only

A few pair of hands and only AP can accomplish.

If you can afford one of these you are a lucky guy, that watch is all you want even from a serious collector's
Point of view.

also try the jules  audemars chronometer with AP escapement  - RG  on brown leather.

Hi Guys, Been a while since I last posted. Want to get everyone's opinion on this beauty. Worth the money or not. It has been my grail piece since I first laid eyes on it a few years back, and prompted me to start saving (but getting no closer). Grail...

What is not to like? I do not recall the exact reference of this one off hand. But I have handled some other complicated Jules Audemars watches in recent years, and I can only say they are astounding. The design and craftsmanship of these timepieces are s...

One of these went at a recent Antiquorum auction, and IIRC the price was quite interesting.............. In the flesh, stunning.

HI Conkers, Thanks for the info on the auctions, I went on and checked out the list prices. It was a great help! Will keep my eye out for this piece in future auctions when I save enough! Do you have any idea why the auction estimated price is half of the...

Great question Eric!

Other than PP, I think you will find that most grande complications from other brands will have very conservative estimates on them - this helps attract interest of course, but also reflects the fact that there is a limited market for these pieces. Obviou...

HI Conkers, thanks for the info and I'm wondering how do I preview watch auctions? Do they tell you what will be sold in advance or just find out during the auction? I'm very new to auctions so i have no idea. At the same time, what are some good auctions...

Easy!

Christies Antiquorum and Sothebys all have excellent websites and the watch auction catalogues are normally posted on the web about 3-4 weeks before the auctions. The Christies one next week in HK has some spectacular very rare Pateks for example.

I am a fan of the AP JA line, very low key but YOU know what is on your wrist. Nothing better than a AP skeleton. Hope you acquire one. Best, JerryW

Definitely an amazing watch!

I guess any watch love dreams with this kind of grails.

Jules Audemars line is one of my favourite round watches..

Paired with a skeleton movement,a repetition and a tourbillon well, you are on a winner!!! Personally I would have preferred without Chronograph, but I could live with it....well good luck hunting! I really hope you will get it,what a watch! Mo

thanks Mo!

Its such a beautiful piece and I do understand what you mean that you could do without the chrono function. I'm searching and saving at the same time and hope that maybe some years down the line i can get it. Just so beautiful. Bests, Eric
