So I had the pleasure recently to interview Quincy Jones at Audemars Piguet's North American headquarters. The interview was done in Francois-Henry Bennahmias office which was a treat in its own right. All the photos and memorabilia were definitely a sight to see. This Tradition Perpetual Calendar is inspired by a 1923 pocket watch. And these historical roots give to the watch a subtle originality. This originality doesn't come from the dial layout: you find again the subdials classic positions due to the use of the 2819 QP module. Last night a number of guests were invited to attend a very special event unveiling Audemars Piguet’s new 2010 masterpieces at the boutique on 57th street in NYC. The event was co-hosted by AP's North American President and CEO Francois-Henry Bennahmias and Cos d' Estournel which is a fabulous Hungarian wine producer.
